This Weeks Subject: Monday: The Right Hair Cut and Style for the New Season
When a new client (looking to change their hair style) consults with me the first service I provide for them is a consultation. What kind of shaping and styling will complement their best features and their lifestyle too. Everyone has great features along with personality traits that will be noticed & appreciated by our onlookers. I have learned this understanding from my first mentor (Mr. Frank Molinari) who owned and operated the Hair Styling School I had attended. He had us understand basic fundamentals on how to shape a haircut that will enhance all facial shapes thank you Mr. Frank who imbedded onto us (at Capri School in Spring Valley, NY). My second mentor was a lady who once owned 3 successful hair salons in Tehran she had many loyal and dedicated clients such as the Shah’s family who followed her when she moved to NYC). In 1979 when I was hired she took me under her wings at Henri Bendels.) She mentored me the importance of facial shapes and, another observation that is greatly overlooked in our business… facial character. This “Grayish” observation takes time to understand and keenly develop. Choosing the right hair style, will help to introduce brighter way to your most vibrant features!
