This Weeks Report: Monday: Short Inverted Bob
A good celebrity example of the short inverted bob is fashioned by Rihanna. This version of the popular hairstyle is slightly off the beaten path from traditional inverted bobs: the length of the hairs on the sides are minimized, so the whole woman’s appearance is perceived as fashion-forward and (at the same time) open and visionary. Shorter versions of the haircut are the easiest to style because, given smooth and thick hair, the hairs lay themselves out & on top of one another perfectly.
Editor’s View: Describing an inverted bob: The focus of the layering is cut at 90* from the natural parting for an inversion of layering that each layer progressively gets longer off the parting to the perimeter for
greater strength at the terminating line then texturing the ends of the hairs at that focal point. This will create greater movement & swing to the hairs for a new fresh look! Each layer is progressively longer on either side of the parting. This technique of hair shaping is inspired to attract more interest to the wearer’s cheekbones and eyes!
